Art Therapy
Art therapy uses art materials and visual mediums for self-expression and reflection within a therapeutic space.
Art therapy helps to make the invisible (emotions, thoughts, memories) visible, given a tangible form– expressing feelings or thoughts that may not be accessible using solely verbal language.
Art therapy combines psychotherapy and the creative process, and can be virtual (using your own art materials at home), or in person at our downtown office, where you can access a variety of mediums, including but not limited to:
Talk Therapy
Talk therapy uses verbal interventions for self-expression and reflection within a therapeutic space.
Our therapists tailor sessions to meet you where you're at, with an integrative, warm, and conversational style.
We offer a wide variety of psychotherapy modalities, including but not limited to:
Art therapy and talk therapy address the same intentions and goals; supporting you to:
Delve into core narratives and patterns
Express and explore your inner world
Increase self-awareness and resiliency
Integrate unresolved life experiences or trauma
Make meaning of a present life challenge
Each session will look different depending on the person, their needs, and the context. Since healing looks and is experienced differently by everyone, therapy will differ from person to person.
A boutique clinic, making sustainable wellness and care accessible for marginalised populations.
No private equity or sprawling network of contractors; Phoebe Chin Therapy is a small group practice prioritising manageable caseloads, with affordable sessions, so that we're able to cultivate sustainable therapeutic relationships with our clients.

As settler and treaty people, we offer our respect and gratitude to be living, working, and playing on Treaty 13 lands, in Tkaronto/Toronto, under the Dish With One Spoon wampum agreement.
We seek to embody reciprocity and interconnection in our work, guided by the wisdom, and ongoing resistance of the First Peoples and caretakers of Turtle Island.
