Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) #19423
Fluent in both English and Tagalog
I identify as a BIPOC, first-generation immigrant woman, and my personal experiences with both mental health and immigration continue to shape how I show up in the therapy space. I’m particularly passionate about supporting Filipino/Filipinx and other immigrant communities as they navigate the complex intersections of cultural identity, family expectations, and emotional well-being.
Growing up, I both witnessed and experienced the stigma surrounding mental health, especially within immigrant families and cultural contexts where emotional needs were often minimized or dismissed. These experiences have deeply informed my commitment to providing culturally responsive therapy that is grounded in anti-oppressive values.
I believe healing begins when individuals feel safe to express themselves fully, without fear of judgment, and are met with empathy, respect, and understanding as they move through their challenges.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to walk alongside you with warmth, respect, and support.
The journey may not always be easy, but it is one of self-discovery and growth that we can navigate together.
