Graduate Intern (University of Toronto's MEd in Counselling Psychology)
I am a first generation, queer, Malaysian immigrant who settled in Canada as a teenager, and my lived experiences shape my culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to therapy. I bring a warm, open-minded, and curious approach to this work. We will look at your goals and work to understand how past experiences may have shaped our ways of thinking, relating, and coping. At other times of need, we will focus on the crisis at hand and explore coping skills together.
