I am a first generation, queer, Malaysian immigrant who settled in Canada as a teenager, and my lived experiences shape my culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to therapy. After almost a decade practicing law in Canada, I am familiar with the burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt and anxiety that can arise, especially if you are neurodivergent and/or you are navigating Canadian corporate, academic, and professional expectations on your own.

I would like to help you thrive in high-pressure environments without losing sight of your needs and values. I am neurodiversity affirming and utilize body liberatory and body neutrality frameworks.

I will tailor my approach to fit your individual needs and goals. I draw from the following modalities:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS and Parts Work)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
  • Psychodynamic, strengths-based approaches

I bring a warm, open-minded, and curious approach to this work. We will look at your goals and work to understand how past experiences may have shaped our ways of thinking, relating, and coping. At other times of need, we will focus on the crisis at hand and explore coping skills together.
