Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am a Black Rastafarian woman, a member of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, and I bring a holistic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach to my work. My identity and lived experiences deeply influence how I support marginalized communities, particularly first-generation Canadians, and provide a unique perspective that honours cultural contexts and individual histories.

  • As a journalist, photographer, and visual artist, I incorporate the expressive arts to help clients tap into emotions and foster a sense of calm.
  • My background as a metaphysical healer, with training in Kundalini yoga and Usui Reiki, informs my therapeutic practice, blending psychological and somatic healing techniques. I have had the privilege of working with individuals across all age groups throughout the GTA for over a decade.
  • The modalities I use include arts-based interventions, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy.

I prioritize creating a safe, flexible, and welcoming space for all clients, where their identities, autonomy, and healing journeys are respected and central to the therapeutic process.
